Scarlet Detritus Coil

Real-World InspirationTrigoniulus corallinus is a small-to-medium cylindrical spirobolidan millipede commonly called the scarlet or rusty millipede. Adults are typically red-brown, brick red, rust colored, or reddish orange, with a smooth rounded body and many pale to similarly colored legs. As in other diplopods, most trunk diplosegments carry two pairs of legs. Its compact size and warm color make it distinctive in culture, but color alone is not diagnostic. Current GBIF backbone treatment places the species in family Pachybolidae and attributes the name to Eydoux and Souleyet, 1842. Older North American literature and databases…

Field Notes

Scarlet Detritus Coil

Scarlet Detritus Coil is a common field find millipede Vault-Specimen built around rustcoil armor and detritus engine. Its signature play pattern favors compost pulse before pivoting into scarlet coilguard. It is the MycoVault counterpart of Scarlet Millipede (Trigoniulus corallinus).

Anchor

Biological anchor: Scarlet Millipede (Trigoniulus corallinus). This identity comes from the supplied SpecimenOS context. The creature's visual proportions should remain recognizable to that real taxon; its named powers, signal effects and Myco-Verse behavior are fictional MycoVault lore.

Vault Behavior

In Scarlet Compost Vault, Scarlet Detritus Coil is known for Rustcoil Armor, Detritus Engine, and Leaflitter Memory. Its three recorded abilities are Compost Pulse, Scarlet Coilguard, and Soilforge Renewal. Steady and communal, more interested in turning dead matter into usable terrain than chasing conflict.

Discovery File

Origin signal: Scarlet Soil Myco-Verse. Rarity: Common Field Find. Acquisition tier: Standard. Myco-Patrons should treat the biological or product anchor as the factual layer and the abilities, signal behavior, and Myco-Verse origin as the fictional game layer.

Collector Note

SpecimenOS anchor: Scarlet Millipede (Trigoniulus corallinus). Keep factual biology separate from Vault lore.
