Battle Arena

Enter the MycoDex combat hub. Pick the battle path you want fast: tactical 1-v-1 duels, matched Battle Royale field clashes, active Battle Deck setup, Recovery Bay, SporaPop inventory and vending, Synchronized Power Core surges, and Ghostwire signal routing. V11.7 keeps combat flowing with tactical freeze menus, smarter unit items, enemy adverse bottles, and three shared Sync Core charges per battle.

Arena Modes

The arena now runs through two combat layers plus supporting systems: tactical 1-v-1 duels, matched-size Battle Royale field clashes, Recovery Bay, SporaPop vending, Sync Core super actions, and Ghostwire signal routing.

Mode 1: Vault-Specimen Duel A tactical turn-based 1-v-1 battle. One active specimen faces one opponent. Swapping your active specimen costs your turn, making timing, foresight, HP pressure, and bench management matter.

Duel rule: Bench swapping costs a full turn. Slot 1 is your opening lead, and the remaining seven deck members form the active bench for tactical swaps, recovery decisions, and Battle Royale deployment.

8-Specimen Battle Deck

Your Battle Deck is your active combat lineup. Slot order matters: slot 1 is your leader/opening duel fighter, Battle Royale reads your lineup from left to right, and open optional bench slots show clearly instead of pretending the empty spaces vanished into cosmic laundry.

🧩

Deck Slots

Pick up to 8 eligible Vault-Specimens for active combat. Empty optional bench slots can stay open while the team rebuilds.

Swap Limits

Replacing or removing team members counts toward the anti-abuse window. Reordering the same team stays free, but repeated member swaps are limited.

💎

Premium Override

Special resources and recovery items can support strategic roster changes when enabled, but KO-locked specimens still cannot act until revived or stabilized.

Battle Royale Field

Send your Battle Deck into a fast field challenge. V11.7 keeps manual pause/resume out of the way, freezes only while a specimen or enemy action menu is open, filters single-unit SporaPops by KO/conscious state, adds enemy adverse target bottles, and keeps the Synchronized Power Core as three shared super charges per battle.

Auto-Battler Fair Match Scan Sync Core

Cross-MycoVerse Opponent Uplink

Choose a field path, pick opponent size, scan a rival signal, and decide whether to risk damaged but awake specimens or visit Recovery Bay first. KO-locked specimens remain blocked unless revived, while active unit menus briefly freeze the field so targeting choices feel intentional.

Matched Echo FieldDefault matchmaking now mirrors your ready active count, so a rebuilding 6-slot team is not shoved into an 8-signal grinder.
Risk AcknowledgementDamaged but awake specimens can deploy after a warning. Proceed, or detour to Recovery Bay before the field opens.
Tactical Freeze TargetingNo manual pause button clutter. The field only freezes while a specimen menu, enemy target menu, or item targeting choice is open.
Tactical Freeze MenusThe field does not need a manual pause button. Opening a specimen or enemy target menu freezes the action just long enough to choose.
Unit-Aware SporaPopsSingle-unit pops filter by target state: conscious fighters get heals, shields, boosts, and camouflage, while KO units require revive or recovery-class items.
Enemy Adverse BottlesTarget rival units with disruptive bottle effects when the field allows it, turning SporaPop strategy into more than simple healing.
Shared Sync CoreMyco-Sync Beam, Grove Sync Mend, and Prism Sporestorm draw from the same three-charge Synchronized Power Core pool each battle.
Damaged Deck ChoiceDamaged but awake teams can proceed after warning. KO-locked units still block deployment until stabilized, revived, or replaced through allowed rules.
Clean Field FocusRecent Moves, strike lines, target flashes, and Immersive View keep Myco-Patrons oriented without overloading the battlefield.

SporaPop Intervention Bay

SporaPops remain the inventory-based support layer for healing, shields, revives, Mega Pops, Unit Pops, and recovery boosts. Battle Royale keeps the Synchronized Power Core separate, so Sync Core surges do not consume SporaPop stock.

Deck integrity rule: damaged specimens can fight after acknowledgement, but replacing/removing deck members counts toward the roster-swap limit window. KO-locked specimens remain unavailable unless a true revive or recovery override brings them back.

Ghostwire Access Node

A buried command layer hums beneath the arena network. Myco-Patrons can transmit field chatter or route discovered frequencies through Duel, Battle Royale, or the standalone node. Awakened signals move into the personal archive where they can be activated when charges and cooldowns allow, separate from Sync Core charges and SporaPop inventory.

Discoverable Encrypted Cooldown Bound Battle Overrides
⌨️

How the Breach Works

The transmission box accepts ordinary text. A recognized override phrase is validated by the server, activated for that Myco-Patron, and added to their discovered signal archive.

01Find a phrase through lore, drops, events, NPC hints, achievements, or experimentation.
02Transmit it during an allowed battle mode.
03The first successful breach unlocks the override in your personal archive.
04Activate it from battle chat or the archive only when its battle mode, charges, and cooldown permit.
🛰️

Discovered Signal Archive

Undiscovered overrides remain encrypted and invisible. Once breached, each entry can reveal its effect, allowed modes, remaining charges, and cooldown countdown.

Ghostwire rule: Strong overrides can have multi-day cooldowns or one-use charge windows. Smaller signals can refresh daily and allow several activations across Duel and Battle Royale matches. Every activation must remain server-validated and logged.

Injury, KO & Recovery

Battles should matter after the victory screen. KO specimens stabilize before returning, damaged survivors heal over real time, and item targeting depends on whether a unit is conscious, recovering, or knocked out.

KO Cooldown Passive Healing Revives
1
Damage persists after battle. A specimen that survives but takes damage should not instantly return to perfect health.
2
KO means locked out. A specimen reduced to 0 HP enters KO cooldown and cannot battle or join a deck until revived or recovered.
3
Healing happens over real time. Passive healing ticks can be tuned by admins. Time Dilation SporaPops can speed up recovery.
4
Deck replacements have limits. Reordering the same team is free, but replacing or removing members counts against the configured swap window.
Normal damageSurvivors keep their remaining HP and heal over real time instead of snapping back to full.
KO lockDefault target: 2 hours, admin range 1–4 hours. KO specimens cannot fight or join a new deck.
Passive healingRecommended baseline: 1 HP per minute, boosted by Time Dilation flavors.
Risk choiceA damaged but conscious specimen can keep battling, but another bad hit may trigger KO downtime.

Battlefield Strategy

Victory should come from more than raw stats. The best arena teams will balance traits, quirks, roles, recovery status, and timing.

🦉

Class Matchups

Owls, bats, fungi, botanicals, arachnids, serpents, insects, and other classes should each bring different matchup logic.

🧬

Traits & Quirks

Signature traits and quirks can create clutch moments, tradeoffs, unstable behavior, and elite specimen identity.

🎲

Action Economy

Spending a turn to swap, spending a meter to deploy a SporaPop, or burning an unlocked Ghostwire override should always feel like a real tactical choice.
