Myco-EMP Birthday Biome Experience
Interactive • Personal • A Living Celebration
This immersive birthday experience transforms your event into a glowing, living biome where curiosity, discovery, and connection come together.
Corrina guides Myco-Patrons through a curated encounter with exotic specimens and microhabitats, allowing everyone to explore comfortably, ask questions freely, and discover what resonates best for their home, comfort level, and environment.
- 4–8 curated specimens featuring both live and transcended displays
- Interactive guided exploration at a comfortable, family-friendly pace
- Glow-reactive visuals and habitat insights woven throughout the experience
- Live Q&A and personalized interaction with Corrina
- Birthday spotlight moment + take-home specimen
🧪 Base Experience $150 • 2 Hours
The base experience includes a guided, on-site Myco-EMP interactive lab session with a curated mix of live specimens and transcended specimens.
- Live specimens are living organisms shown in a safe, educational, interactive way.
- Transcended specimens are preserved specimens or display pieces used for learning, viewing, and artistic appreciation.
- Includes one take-home specimen for the birthday Myco-Patron based on the included tier, unless upgraded.
- Designed to allow families time to observe, ask questions, and explore what types of specimens may be the best fit for their space and needs.
⏱ Extended Time + $50/hr • Up to 4 Hours
Extra time is ideal for families and mixed-age groups who want a slower pace, deeper interaction, more questions answered, and more opportunity for each Myco-Patron to connect with the experience.
🌙 Extended Beyond 4 Hours + $75/hr
For longer celebrations, larger gatherings, or events where the experience is meant to remain active for an extended stretch, additional hours beyond 4 are charged at a higher rate.
🎁 Specimen Upgrades Live + Transcended Options
Specimen upgrades increase the value tier for the birthday Myco-Patron’s take-home piece and may include either live or transcended options, depending on availability, suitability, and the selection being made.
- Live specimen options are best for Myco-Patrons prepared for proper habitat setup and care.
- Transcended specimen options may include preserved display pieces, framed selections, or artistic educational specimens.
- Corrina can help guide families toward the option that best fits their home environment and comfort level.
Additional specimens, duplicate specimen options, curated display pieces, or a mini sales booth setup can also be brought on-site for other interested Myco-Patrons. This allows friends, family members, or attendees to explore and potentially select their own live or transcended specimens during the event.

(Flat rate per session — NOT per participant)
The $80 booking fee is a flat session rate that secures the experience, materials preparation, and guided instruction.
For many schools, libraries, and community-based organizations, this cost can be reduced — or fully covered — through participant frame prebooking.
This means participants select their frame sizes ahead of time, and those selections contribute toward covering the session cost.
This system allows organizations with limited or no budget to still host the experience by shifting cost participation across the group.
Use this estimator to see how participant prebooking can reduce the $80 workshop booking cost. This is especially helpful for schools, libraries, community programs, and assisted living groups planning ahead.
This system is designed to help reduce or eliminate the $80 workshop booking cost through participant prebooking.
Each participant’s frame selection contributes toward the total session cost. These selections must be made before the workshop so materials can be prepared accordingly.
As participation increases, the session cost decreases.
In larger groups, the booking cost can be:
✔ Reduced significantly
✔ Fully covered
This model works especially well for:
• Schools and classrooms
• Libraries and public programs
• Assisted living communities
• Community enrichment events
It creates a flexible structure where the experience remains accessible, even when the hosting organization does not have a dedicated budget.
Example:
10 participants choose Medium ($2 credit each) → $20 credit
Remaining cost → $60
20 participants choose Large ($4 credit each) → $80 credit
Workshop becomes fully covered
This allows flexibility without placing full burden on the organizer.
Organizers can structure the experience in several ways:
- ✔ Pay the $80 session cost directly
- ✔ Have participants prepay for frames to offset the cost
- ✔ Charge a small per-participant fee to distribute cost
- ✔ Use a hybrid approach (partial coverage + participant contribution)
This flexibility allows the workshop to adapt to different environments — from fully funded programs to community-driven participation models.
We’re happy to help coordinate the best approach based on your group size and needs.
This workshop includes fine motor tasks using tools such as tweezers, pins, and delicate positioning techniques.
Some participants may find portions of the process more challenging depending on hand coordination or mobility.
- ✔ Assistance and guidance are always available
- ✔ Participants may observe, assist, or partially complete their piece
- ✔ Pre-prepared partial builds can be provided for a simplified experience
The goal is exploration, creativity, and learning — at your own pace.

Exploration Lab
Guided Discovery • Layered Ecosystems • Corrina-Led Field Learning
The Exploration Lab is designed for groups who want more than a static presentation. This experience invites Myco-Patrons into a guided discovery environment where living systems, habitat design, behavior, observation, and environmental storytelling come together in a way that feels active, immersive, and deeply memorable.
Corrina leads the group through a structured but flexible science-forward experience that can shift between observation, discussion, interactive station work, and guided ecological interpretation depending on the age, attention span, and curiosity level of the people participating.
- Curated habitat stations and educational display points
- Moss, microhabitat, and environment-building concepts
- Specimen behavior discussion and guided observation
- Question-driven learning with Corrina adjusting in real time
- Flexible pacing for both highly focused and mixed-energy groups
This lab sits above the entry-level experiences because it requires more preparation, more educational flow, and a more actively guided structure. It is still meant to remain reachable for smaller organizations while scaling fairly for larger or longer sessions.
Interaction Lab
High Engagement • Controlled Flow • Supreme Tier Experience
The Interaction Lab is your upper-tier, high-engagement experience built for groups that want something bigger, more active, and more memorable than a standard educational stop. This is where the Myco-EMP presence becomes a full attraction layer, creating continuous moments of interaction, guided discovery, and visual pull.
Rather than simply rotating people past a display, this lab is designed to hold attention, create repeat engagement, and keep the energy moving. It works especially well for events, larger group environments, and bookings that want a more premium, more immersive, more visibly “worth it” experience.
- Multiple guided interaction points within one experience zone
- Live specimen encounters and deeper educational breakdowns
- Stronger demo flow with repeated “pull people in” moments
- Hands-on viewing, discussion, and curated activity moments
- Optional layering with booth-style elements, display pieces, or hybrid expansion
- A more event-ready setup for fairgrounds, festivals, community nights, or premium private bookings
This is not an entry-level booking. The Interaction Lab is intended to be the premium, larger-feel, crowd-pulling tier. It should price higher because it asks more of the setup, flow, energy, and event management side of the experience.
