What You Can Use Here
The Marketplace can support multiple resource paths. Some listings may be simple Dust purchases, while higher-value specimens may call for rarer signals, credits, or specimen-for-specimen offers.
Specimen Value Guide
Not all Vault-Specimens should be treated the same. Marketplace value can come from rarity, access difficulty, traits, collection demand, battle usefulness, visual identity, or how hard a specimen is to replace.
Rarity
Rare, ultra rare, legendary, event, and anomaly specimens usually carry more weight than common field finds.
Access Difficulty
Owls, bats, bamboo relics, elite mantises, special botanicals, rare birds, and deep-shelf signals may be harder to obtain even when rarity labels look similar.
Traits & Quirks
Bonus traits, useful quirks, high stats, unusual morphs, and strong battle roles can make one individual specimen more desirable than another.
Trade Offer Flow
The exchange works best when Myco-Patrons understand the route from listing to settlement. Keep the trade counter clean, deliberate, and mushroom-lit.

Review Before Listing
Check rarity, traits, quirks, stats, morphs, owner value, showcase value, battle role, and clone potential before releasing anything.

Marketplace actions should be tracked so Myco-Patrons can review purchases, listings, trades, and resource movement.
Duplicates Can Matter
A duplicate species may still have different traits, stats, quirks, morphs, nicknames, or battle value. Compare the individual before letting it wander off.
Rare Access Is Different
Some specimens are valuable because they are harder to acquire, not just because of the rarity label printed on the card.
