Field Notes

Dog Stinkhorn Snoutling is a Scarce Specimen Fungal Critter recorded from MycoDex Expansion Field, with field traces most often reported around Fungal Critters survey shelf. Inspired by Dog stinkhorn, Mutinus caninus, this specimen carries the Grand Cosmic Mycelial Network signature: familiar biology refracted through a stranger, brighter branch of reality. Its defining behavior, Snout-Stink Signal, makes it more than a collectible image. It is a tiny living file from the Infinite Myco-Verses, part science note, part myth fragment, and part blacklight field encounter waiting to be cataloged.

Collector Note

Added for the expanded official specimen-class system and future Myco-Patron unlock paths.
