Stiltveil Cranefly
Habitat Log
Misty reed beds where long legs look like moving punctuation.
Field Notes
Stiltveil Cranefly is a Common Field Find Cranefly recorded from Mistleg Marsh, with field traces most often reported around Tall dew reeds. Inspired by Crane Flies, this specimen carries the Grand Cosmic Mycelial Network signature: familiar biology refracted through a stranger, brighter branch of reality. Its defining behavior, Stilt Drift Escape, makes it more than a collectible image. It is a tiny living file from the Infinite Myco-Verses, part science note, part myth fragment, and part blacklight field encounter waiting to be cataloged.
Collector Note
Common and deeply committed to looking more dangerous than it is.
