Starter-Safe Signal Preview

This preview is intentionally limited to the easiest entry-level signals. Bigger chase groups are kept out of this beginner preview so new Myco-Patrons can learn the system without skipping straight to the heavy shelves.

Starter rule: Your training reward is meant to teach the system, not hand out the heavy hitters. The rare shelves come later, once you know how the Vault behaves.

This scan flashes through simple starter-safe specimens so new Myco-Patrons can feel the MycoDex atmosphere without seeing the advanced chase pool too early.

How Training Works

Training is your first tiny mission. It teaches the basic loop, grants one beginner-friendly starter, and introduces incubation.

Learn Incubate Claim

Your First Mission

  1. Learn the basics. Vault-Specimens are collectible creatures and entities unlocked through training, Vault Keys, capsules, events, and missions.
  2. Receive a random starter signal. Training grants one beginner-friendly Vault-Specimen from the entry-level pool.
  3. Watch it stabilize. Your starter enters a short one-minute incubation so you can see how reservoir countdowns work.
  4. Claim your specimen. Once stabilized, it joins My MycoDex and becomes part of your collection.
  5. Choose your next path. Collect, showcase, battle, explore discovery missions, or redeem more Vault Keys.

One-Minute Incubation

Training introduces incubation in the safest way possible. A short starter countdown teaches you that some specimen signals need time before they fully stabilize.

1:00

Your starter specimen enters the reservoir, stabilizes for one minute, then becomes claimable. This helps you understand incubation before redeeming bigger packs or rarer codes.

Good to know: You can reset or replay the course later as a refresher, but the free starter specimen is granted only once per Myco-Patron account.

What You Need to Know Before You Play

This is the quick version. The full MycoDex Guide goes deeper, but these basics are enough to start.

Vault-Specimens Digital critters, fungi, botanicals, spirits, cryptids, and oddities you unlock and collect.
Rarity Common specimens are easier. Elite groups like owls, bats, bamboo relics, and anomalies are much harder.
Traits Traits help define what makes your individual specimen special, useful, or battle-ready.
Quirks Quirks add personality, odd behavior, small bonuses, or possible drawbacks.
Spore Dust The common Vault resource used for everyday progress, slots, recycling, and some systems.
Prism Spores A rarer resource used for focused pulls, special offers, and higher-value paths.
Incubator Credits Used to reduce incubation time and support clone or stabilization systems.
Battle Mode Active players can battle. Passive players can collect, learn, showcase, and trade without pressure.

Begin Crash Course

Start your first MycoDex training sequence. When completed for the first time, you receive one random beginner-friendly Vault-Specimen signal and begin the starter stabilization process.
